How It Works

MathPert teaches the method behind the answer

MathPert’s teaching method is built around structured working and reasoning. Students are taught how to start, lay out, check, and finish questions independently.

Method-first teaching

The aim is to improve the way the student thinks

MathPert teaches students to read the question, decide on the first step, write working clearly, and check whether each move still makes sense. A student who understands the method can handle a question they have never seen before. One who only memorised the example cannot. That difference is visible in every exam.

The class flow

How Teacher Au usually works through a gap

Locate the weak step

The issue is narrowed down to the specific step that breaks, not described vaguely as “weak in Maths”.

Rebuild the method

The student learns the step with the reason behind it, in a clear order they can repeat on their own.

Test transfer

The method is tested against questions phrased differently, so the student is not just copying a familiar pattern.

Questions parents ask

Common questions

Working shows the thinking. Without clear working, the teacher cannot see where the method breaks.
